Alan Crawford was a Hollywood film director. In 2012, Amelia Hubble attempted to feed on his creative plasma energy but was stopped by the Tenth Doctor and Donna Noble, who provided Amelia with a device which would allow her to obtain the energy she needed from the Internet. A year later, Alan and Amelia had married and Amelia had written his next movie, Space Bugs. (COMIC: Nightmare on the Boulevard)
