Star Trek: Deep Space Nine is the full name of the series, but it has not been properly identified as a Star Trek series in Doctor Who media.

Dark Space 8 from AUDIO: Bang-Bang-a-Boom! is a pastiche of Deep Space 9, the titular space station of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.

In 2013, four months before IDW lost the comic right to Doctor Who, Tony Lee was asked to pitch a sequel to COMIC: Assimilation²; his eight-part pitch was titled Star Trek: Deep Space Nine/Doctor Who: Domination. The comic would have featured the Eleventh Doctor and Clara Oswald teaming up the season five Deep Space Nine crew against a Sontaran Battle Fleet that ended up in the Alpha Quadrant and joined forces with the Jem’Hadar.
