The limitation field is used by the Abzorbaloff to keep it's absorbtion abilities under control - if the field is broken then the Abzorbaloff would break apart and be absorbed by the ground. The field's generator was concealed within Victor Kennedy's cane and was destroyed when Elton Pope broke it in half. It is unknown as to if the limitation field was a necessity to all of the Abzorbaloff's species.
