Jospa was apparently the travelling companion of the First Doctor, Ian Chesterton, Barbara Wright and Vicki Pallister. He was an orphan and teased Vicki. On the Arunde homeworld he helped the Doctor and Ian explore. He was concerned when Vicki and Barbara couldn't remember him. He later revealed to Vicki that he was controlling them by weaving him into his memories. He was sent to infiltrate the Doctor to get his TARDIS. The combined forces of Arunde defeated him.
