Gendry Temple-Noble was an old television reporter with a bushy grey mustache, who worked alongside Pete Lannister. Together, they covered the "player transfers" between Doctor Who and Game of Thones, most notably Mark Gatiss and Maisie Williams, Lannister being the main presenter who then asked Temple-Noble for his educated opinion. Behind the scenes

  • In allusion to the subject of the skit, which was the shared cast members and perceived rivalry between Doctor Who and Game of Thrones, Pete Lannister's last name is that of one of the most plot-relevant families in the Game of Thrones universe while Gendry's is the married name of Donna Noble from televised Doctor Who. It is unclear if Gendry Temple-Noble is actually meant to be related to Donna in-universe, however, as this would cause obvious and severe timeline troubles if so.
