Re: editing questionsedit source

Hi! I'll list below the reasons for undoing your edits:

 • For DWM 485, the image had no license and therefore had to be deleted. Once it was deleted, I removed the link from the page. Please read through our image policies, located at Thread:148148.
 • For Category:K9 television stories, you placed it in category:Television stories, but category:K9 television stories is in category:Television stories by featured character, which in turn is in category:Television stories. It's a bit complicated, but Tardis:Don't over-categorise and Tardis:Beware recursion are an attempt to explain the system. Regarding the other pages you mentioned, I'll take a look at those and see if they need to be corrected.
 • For several of your edits, you have added brackets to dates. However, we have four different date types for different article types. Using only brackets with no dab term is for in universe articles, which magazines are not. For magazine dates you would mostly use the format date. I've been unlinking the dates because they don't lead to the appropriate pages; the editor that took on the project of changing dates has pretty much abandoned it, so I've been cleaning up the links as I see them. If you prefer to link them, then just make sure whether they are talking about releases, real world people births and deaths, or production. See category:years for a look at the different types of dates.

I think this covers the types of edits I had to undo; if I overlooked anything, or if anything I said above needs clarifying, just let me know. Thanks. Shambala108 01:37, May 11, 2015 (UTC)

Videosedit source

Hi! Please note that, per Tardis:Video policy, only admins are allowed to upload videos. The video you uploaded has been deleted, but if you would like it to be included on the wiki, you can recommend it for inclusion at Tardis talk:Video recommendations. Thanks! Re: reportedit source

Hi! The user has been blocked and the page restored. Thanks! Shambala108 19:22, August 22, 2015 (UTC)

Re:Imagesedit source

Well, I'd have to see what images of yours have been deleted, but I can hand out a few pointers. One tip is to always make sure that you upload the files in a .jpg or .jpeg format. Uploading in a .png format is an easy mistake to make, but it's important for loading times to get this right. The only times you should ever use a .png file is if you need the background to be transparent, like in the case of File:The eighth doctor and charley 2.png. Also you should make sure you have the right copyright tagged to the image. Also watch out for logos on the clip -- that tiny "BBC" in the upper right hand corner is against our policy. Try cropping it or trying to find a version without the logo. Finally, try and watch the size -- we aim for images under 100 KB. So try resizing the image (BUT NOT IN PAINT, IT LOOKS BAD) or taking the screenshot from a smaller size. If there are any other problems, I'm free to help out. :) OS25 (talk to me, baby.) 13:04, September 28, 2015 (UTC)

You seem to be following these rules so far tho, so I'm looking through the files you uploaded to find ones deleted. OS25 (talk to me, baby.) 13:06, September 28, 2015 (UTC)

Any change you could link some file names that were deleted? I can't find any deleted images in your history. Try uploading the same image that was deleted (but don't actually click upload) a box should show up stating that the image was deleted with the admin notes on why. Hope that helps! Imagesedit source

Hi! It's best if you have a question about why your images were deleted to go to the admin who deleted them. User:OttselSpy25 gave you some useful tips, but he doesn't necessarily know why your images were deleted.

I've deleted a lot of images over the weekend, from various users, for various reason. Yours were, as OttselSpy25 suggested, too large. Please see Tardis:Image use policy for our guidelines on image size. In addition, Thread:148148 includes all of our image policies.

If you don't know how to find out who deleted your images, you can always use the "recent changes" button at the bottom of every screen, and scroll down until you get to "deletion log". Not only will you find out who deleted your images, but most of the time, we include the reason. Thanks! Shambala108 15:20, September 28, 2015 (UTC)

Re: Clara and the TARDIS (TV story)edit source

Oh wow, thanks so much for doing all that work! The inaccurate dabs on the DVD exclusive stories have bothered me for a long time, but I didn't realize we had an underused home video dab until relatively recently. It's currently one of my pet projects to hunt down the incorrect (or non-dabbed) home video releases and fix that, but as you know from working on the Clara and the TARDIS links, all of those stories have been around for so long that they've got an incredible amount of links for each one. Unfortunately, non-mods/admins aren't allowed to move pages so I can't make the final move from Clara and the TARDIS (TV story) to Clara and the TARDIS (home video), but I can go leave a note on User:Shambala108's talk page. She tends to do a lot of speedy rename page moves, but usually only if all the links have already been moved. I know it's a pretty big undertaking and will take some considerable time and energy, but if you're up for it, I'd be happy to work together on tackling the link changing for the remainder of the pages that need to be moved to home video dabs. Infobox imagesedit source

Hey, T:IMAGE CHEAT should also help you more with images, aside from the already pointed Tardis:Guide to images. For example, TV story images should be .jpg instead of .png, and the file size should always be less than 100kb. Anyway, the whole page should give a bit more insight. Happy editing. Images revisitededit source

Hi, please look through the messages above this one that deal with images. The images you've uploaded recently had no license, and had to be deleted, but they also violated several other policies. Please do not upload any more images until you read through our image policies. Thanks Shambala108 04:05, January 14, 2020 (UTC)
