The Seventh Doctor and Ace revisit the Tribe of Gum to see how they have progressed only to find that nothing has changed.

Notes
- The Tribe of Gum appeared in the first Doctor Who story, An Unearthly Child. In 2013, the Tribe did return in the fiftieth anniversary comic story Hunters of the Burning Stone. However, instead of not progressing technologically at all as depicted in this story they had been enhanced by Promethean technology up to a point where they had space-faring capabilities.
