Tarbulon was a friend of Ambassador Rahnius and Brucifax. The three played Space Golf together. (SJA: From Raxacoricofallapatorius With Love)
- It is possible that, like Rahnius, Tarbulon was a member of the Galactic Alliance also.
- The name is almost certainly intended to be a spoof of Jimmy Tarbuck (nicknamed 'Tarby') a fellow comedian with whom Ronnie Corbett plays golf.
