Gaz was a Dalek who often spoke about recent events involving the Doctor with his friend over a drink in the Skaro Arms.

He was an Invasion of Earth Dalek who had been around since the 1960s. He differed from his Dead Planet predecessors in that he could access satellite television from the dish on his back. (NOTVALID: Doctor Who? 168)

Gaz and his friend once commiserated in the Skaro Arms about their latest defeat from the Doctor, but took some pleasure from the fact that this new incarnation wasn't as bad as the Alternative Doctor from the two movies who used to attack them with wooden stakes. (NOTVALID: Doctor Who? 96)

Later, Gaz and his friend discussed yet another new incarnation of the Doctor whom they believed to be the weirdest to date. Gaz thought this was because of his faulty regeneration but his friend corrected him by saying he was never the same after he started to appear in pantomimes. (NOTVALID: Doctor Who?)

Sometime after this, Gaz's friend was curious about the differences between the Dead Planet and Invasion of Earth models of Dalek and asked him about it. Gaz happily explained, noting that the answer was "obvious". (NOTVALID: Doctor Who? 168)
