Rebec was a member of the Thal taskforce sent to Spiridon to defeat the Daleks based there. She was not, initially, a member of the group headed by Taron. Instead, she was part of a new unit of Thals sent to warn Taron's men of the increased size of the Dalek force on the planet. (DW: Planet of the Daleks)
