The Eleventh Doctor and Amy Pond used a painting of the outside of a café by Vincent van Gogh to find the artist when they visited Auvers-sur-Oise in 1890. It appeared in a guidebook from the Musée d'Orsay. Using the picture, the Doctor could see that they were looking for a "sort of orangey light, chairs and tables outside".
