Emsical
Emsical was a young Time Lady who served with Omega, (PROSE: The Evil and the Deep Black Sky) solar engineer and one of the great founders of Gallifreyan society, (PROSE: The Legacy of Gallifrey) during a time travel experiment at a space station in orbit around a black hole known as the Heart of Messina. The experiment was the first time any Time Lord had entered the Time Vortex in any capacity.
Emsical was in charge of the dematerialisation regulation and under the direct command of Karidice, another Time Lady. During the experiment, the crew was attacked by a Chronovore, which frightened Emsical and killed Karidice. (PROSE: The Evil and the Deep Black Sky) A figure from an early Time Lord myth, it was unclear how much of Emsical's history as recounted in myth was true. (PROSE: Introduction) The Gallifreyan people's early history was so distant and shrouded in mystery that later generations surmised some of their myths were in fact history, and some of their history was actually myth.
