Question[[edit source]]

Should this page be combined with https://tardis.fandom.com/wiki/Zephon_(species) ? The preceding unsigned comment was added by Scarecrow1000 (talk • contribs) .

No, why? This page is about a particular individual of the species. --Scrooge MacDuck 23:13, May 13, 2020 (UTC)
I agree with Scrooge. This is the individual of the species and deserves their own page. TheFartyDoctor Talk 23:15, May 13, 2020 (UTC)
Do they actually do anything or have any lines or is this just a background extra with no name nor any role in the story? The page doesn't really have any content from which to judge, but if the latter is the case than the information can go on the species page. Toqgers 01:32, May 14, 2020 (UTC)
Not by this Wiki's policies it can't. This Wiki doesn't recognise such a thing as non-notability. If a thing that can be meaningfully talked about separate from its kind/species existed within the DWU at any point, it deserves a page. In this case, we don't know a lot about this guy, but in-universe it was a Zephon no less individual than the one in The Daleks' Master Plan, and so it is equally deserving of a page.
(You might think this is a bit of a strange policy, but firstly, you should follow it anyway until such a time as you get it changed in the forums; and secondly, I for one think it's a good policy. If only because it spares us the energy of endless talk page debates about quite when a given character tips over into an arbitrary concept of "notability".) --Scrooge MacDuck 02:05, May 14, 2020 (UTC)
Can I get a link to this rule? I'm new here but every dalek we see doesn't have their own page, it make no sense... For reference, on the liberation page on the same bullet, the axon link send you to the Axon species page. Maybe the link to Zephon should be switched on that page aswell? But then this page is absolutely useless. The preceding unsigned comment was added by Scarecrow1000 (talk • contribs) .
Please make sure to sign your posts. And the policy is located at Tardis:We're Wikipedia's evil twin. Shambala108 02:27, May 14, 2020 (UTC)
(I'm pretty sure the reason the Axon doesn't have a separate page is that technically, Axons aren't individuals, or even a collective species. They're remote-controlled puppets of a single entity with a single mind, Axos. As for Daleks, we have no practical way of naming pages for every single Dalek in an army, similar to how we can't have a page about every human background extra, but whenever we can make a page about an individual Dalek, in my experience, we do.) --Scrooge MacDuck 02:35, May 14, 2020 (UTC)
