- When Flip Jackson told the Sixth Doctor to "do something" to stop his TARDIS from crashing and he said he was trying, she told him "do or do not, don't try," This is a paraphrasing of a famous quote by Yoda's famous quote from Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, "Do. Or do not. There is no try." When the Doctor later asked her if she had been "paraphrasing science fiction" at him, Flip said it was something Jared Ramon was always saying to her and that she thought it was from "some dumb old movie".
