A Fendahleen, along with a second Fendahleen, once faced off against the Fourth Doctor. It joined its comrade in laughing tauntingly after the Doctor after it ridiculed the suggestion that they could be defeated with rock salt. However, the Doctor dropped a large sack of Saxa salt on the Fendahleen, killing them both. (NOTVALID: Doctor Who? 197)
