One, Two or Three Emperors?

Now, we all know that the fourth, blue one is new, but what about the first three? (Davros was a Kaled and therefore not a true Dalek Emperor, merely a leader holding the title Emperor) There is no indication that any of them was killed off at any point, other than the one from Parting of Ways who were heavily implied to have been disintegrated by Rose. The golden globe emperor never died and the one in Evil of the Daleks was seen to still function, so one could wonder, are they the same? Quetzatoul 18:57, November 27, 2010 (UTC)

Number of Dalek Emperors

The whole thing is really just speculation and no one can agree on how many there are, the number is changed by anyone who looks at the page. I'm going to remove it as just speculation, and if an admin decides it should still be there, then they can put it back. Masterpwn 02:04, April 29, 2014 (UTC)

Genesis of Evil

Should the golden dalek thing be here? I thought Genesis of Evil conflicted with the accepted origin story of the Daleks, so it was non-canon. Should we clarify this? CloneMarshalCommanderCody 04:24, August 4, 2014 (UTC)

On this wiki, Genesis of Evil is a valid source for in-universe articles, whether it contradicts other stories or not. Dalek stories have been contradicting each other throughout DW's history. We don't use contradictions or conflicting accounts as a means for determining whether a story is valid or not. The link I provided gives the wiki's guidelines on what stories are valid. Hope this clears things up. Shambala108 04:36, August 4, 2014 (UTC)

Merge tag

Is there a reason why there is a tag requesting this page be merged with the Davros page? LauraBatham 04:21, May 30, 2020 (UTC)

Since no reason was given, I removed the tag. Shambala108 04:26, May 30, 2020 (UTC)
I presume it was because Davros was the Emperor in Remembrance of the Daleks and Terror Firma. -- Saxon (✉️) 09:46, May 30, 2020 (UTC)
For context, the user that added it also moved Davros to Dagros and Dalek Sec to Dalek Second. So I don't think we should necessarily worry that much about there being in universe logic for the change. Najawin 10:02, May 30, 2020 (UTC)
