Valkro

Valkro was a Yend biologist. He worked in the installation in which the First Doctor was held as a specimen on the planet Wengrol. He believed that the Doctor was a mutant Yend which had stabilised in a single form. He expressed hope that this discovery might save his world. (PROSE: The Sons of the Crab)
