Smolensk was a city in Russia. Ileana de Santos and her father were from the city.
In the summer of 1812, Ileana and her father fled following the invasion of the city by Napoléon Bonaparte's France. Instead, they ran into bandits, and Ileana's father was shot. She, however, was saved by the werewolf Pieter Stubbe. (AUDIO: Loups-Garoux)
