Flâneur

"Flâneur", or "flâneuse", was a descriptive noun that Iris Wildthyme used to describe herself with. (PROSE: Iris Wildthyme and the Unholy Ghost)

Flâneur means "stroller", "lounger", "saunterer", or "loafer". Flânerie is the act of strolling, with all of its accompanying associations. Flâneur derives from the Old Norse verb flana, which means "to wander with no purpose".
