Blenheim Palace was the birthplace of Winston Churchill. His mother had attended a shooting party at the palace in the last stages of her pregnancy. It was rumoured by some that this was deliberate on her part in order to grant Winston a "suitably impressive birthplace". (PROSE: Players)
