Proven (The Sleuth Slayers)

Professor Proven was the foremost expert on detective fiction and crime stories. He was consulted by the man investigating the murders of several amateur detectives, but admitted that he was not good at solving real-life murders, and advised him to consult the detectives trying to solve the murders, which included Mr Sherrinford and Hercule Smith. The man and his partner, Georgie Price Jones, discovered that Professor Proven's housekeeper, Mrs H, was also Sherrinford's housekeeper. After solving the case with the aid of Iris Wildthyme and Tom, the four investigators returned to Professor Proven's house to celebrate with champagne. (PROSE: The Sleuth Slayers)
