Bethany Chase
Bethany Chase was a good friend of Kate Stewart. In 1995 she often looked after Gordy when Kate wasn't around. Kate also phoned her friend whenever she had problems. She also told Beth about the Chillys and that she was feeling scared of them, because they where always watching her. Beth suggested that Kate should call her father. Even though Kate hadn't contacted her dad for six years she took Beth's advice and told her father about the Chillys. (HOMEVID: Downtime) Beth had twins, two boys (Gabriel and Raphael), who were known as the "demolition duo" and were good friends with Gordy. (PROSE: Downtime) Over the years, she remained best friends with Kate, and their sons (and Kate's nephew) all attended the same school. (Downtime: Child of the New World)
In 2004, Beth babysat Gordy when Kate answered a call for help from Douglas Cavendish. (HOMEVID: Dæmos Rising)
In 2005, Beth assisted Kate and Tamara Wilson as chaperons for Gordon's fourteenth birthday party. She knew her son Gabriel was gay and dating Conall Wilson, Gordon's cousin, and was surprised that Kate did not know. Following the kidnapping of Gordon and Conall, Beth helped Tamara cope.
