Roma VIII was one of many Known Worlds where the Roman Empire never fell. Since the Battle of Actium fell a different way, Roman culture was influenced by Egypt rather than Greece. The emperors of that world were entombed in giant, expensive pyramids that rivalled the Alps in size. It was immediately "fivewards" of Roma II, but it connected to no other Romas.
