Cyber-smoke was a type of gas released by Cybermats.

When inhaled, it began to overwrite the subject's mind to resist free thought, and to prepare the subject for Cyber-conversion. The Third Doctor was exposed to the Cyber-smoke whilst on the colony planet Burnt Salt. (AUDIO: The Tyrants of Logic)
