"Doc" was a physician at Davy Crockett Base on Davy Crockett. He was scratched by a Werelok, and informed Commander Bill Brewster in the Alamo meteor dome that there were 51 deaths from the Werelok attack on the base. When two of the planets in the New Earth System appeared in the skies, the wavelength of light from them turned him into a Werelok. He and the others in the dome attacked Brewster.
