Dorothea Remington

Dorothea Remington was an Englishwoman who lived in Windsor (TV: Silver Nemesis) at Remington Grange. (PROSE: "The Life and Conduct of Lady Peinforte")

The Remingtons maintained aquaintance with Lady Peinforte over a series of dinners. Dorothea became so impressed by the food that she offered the cook a position at Remington Grange. Enraged, Lady Peinforte vowed revenge. Dorothea died before the end of the year, (PROSE: "The Life and Conduct of Lady Peinforte") in 1621, (TV: Silver Nemesis) after a long illness. Her suffering could be heard from the nearby woods, where some villagers swore that they had witnessed Lady Peinforte practicing with her bow and laughing. In 1988, Lady Peinforte, who had travelled in time to that year, met a descendant of the Remingtons she knew, Mrs Remington. (TV: Silver Nemesis)
