We don't know the name of this thing.

But we do know where it came from. So we're using that to title the page logically. If you know a better, more precise name, tell us.

The "Eden man-trap" was a plant that the Fourth Doctor briefly encountered. The Eden man-trap was native to the planet Eden, though one was captured by a Continuous Event Transmuter.

The Eden man-trap was a large plant with a central mouth/flower. This mouth/flower was made of several layers of leaves which unfolded to engulf prey. The Eden man-trap also had many vines which could wrap around food and drag it towards the mouth/flower. It would release the food from the vines if the plant was too badly damaged. The bottom was made of thick roots filled with a green, sticky ichor. (TV: Nightmare of Eden)
