Gengyrians were a species only interested in science. They believed that the Ether was the universe's very foundation, and that it was a random, blowing chaos.
A Gengyrian science crew spotted a huge orange rock falling through the fabric of the universe while they were busy trying to sew up the tear it had made. They took the opportunity to set up a permanent base there. (PROSE: Rough Magic)
