Renegade Time Lord

Renegade Time Lords, of which number the Doctor himself has belonged, have occurred at various points in Time Lord society.

While the majority of Time Lords observed the non-interference policy and, at most, observed the universe, others took action, individually and not under the auspices of the Celestial Intervention Agency or any other official Gallifreyan governing body. Though exceptions existed, generally, renegades used their powers to dubious or evil ends.

The group of young Time Lords and Ladies known as the Deca had a number of renegades in its number.

It seems to be something of a convention for renegades to discard their real name and adopt a title. Renegade Time Lords include:
