File:"It Means Life" Speech - The Pilot - Doctor Who - BBC A lecture was a type of class, given by lecturers, present in some universities.

While working on St Luke's University, the Twelfth Doctor gave lectures on a lecture hall, and spoke about, among other subjects, Time And Relative Dimension In Space, (TV: The Pilot) space, (TV: Oxygen) metaphysical privilege (AUDIO: Dead Media) and cyclical time. (PROSE: Diamond Dogs)

Evelyn Smythe gave history lectures at Sheffield Hallam University before meeting the Sixth Doctor. (AUDIO: The Marian Conspiracy)

After a stint at Sedgwick College at the University of Cambridge, (AUDIO: Entanglement) the First Doctor developed a fondness for delivering lectures. In an alternate timeline in which he spent three months on Urbinia, the Doctor delivered lectures on alchemical advances in the Outer Galaxies in Kiria City's university. He boasted to Steven Taylor that they were highly commended and claimed Katarina enjoyed attending them, like everyone else. The timeline was later reset by the Second Doctor and they never happened. (AUDIO: Daughter of the Gods)
