Levitation beams were a transport technology used by the Adiposian nursery ships.
The beams appeared as large, translucent spotlights that pulled anyone who stepped into their circumferences into wherever the beam was coming from. The Adiposians used levitation beams to collect their newborn after the march of the Adipose on Earth.
The beams could hold around one hundred at a time. When turned off, the passenger(s) would drop instantly. (TV: Partners in Crime)
