Windermere incident was the name that Kate Stewart gave to an event in the summer of 2015, which saw Lake Windermere destroyed by a Hyperion spacecraft, occurring soon after the similar destruction of the International Space Station. The spacecraft formed a crater where Windermere used to be. This incident proved to be a prelude to the Hyperion invasion of Britain. (COMIC: The Hyperion Empire)
