The Neo-Technologists were a faction on ancient Gallifrey led by Rassilon. They favoured science and reason over magic and superstition, and opposed the Pythia's reign. They gained in popularity after the Pythia withdrew from public life when she lost her ability to foresee the future. (PROSE: Cat's Cradle: Time's Crucible)
