Rift Monster

A creature born of the Cardiff Space-Time Rift was dubbed the "Rift Monster" by Jack Harkness. The monster ensnared Bilis Manger, and had him lure people to the Clockhouse Hotel so it could feed off their life energy. It then had Bilis lure Jack Harkness to the hotel, so that it could gain enough life energy to establish a foothold on Earth. (COMIC: Broken)
