A robot cat was once encountered by K9 Mark III; with the two deciding to act like a real cat and dog respectively, K9 soon chased the robot cat up a tree.
The robot cat displayed a blinking tail antenna like some K9 models', but also four independent, articulated legs, enabling it to climb trees while K9 remained stuck on the ground. (COMIC: K9 and Company)
