F. Scott Fitzgerald

F. Scott Fitzgerald was an American author of the early 20th century, associated with the 1920s. (AUDIO: The Auntie Matter) The Fourth Doctor knew him as "dear Scottie". (AUDIO: The Crooked Man)

One book by Fitzgerald began, "In my younger and more vulnerable years my father gave me some advice that I've been turning over in my mind ever since." The Fourth Doctor once found a page ripped out of this book in a second-hand bookshop in Eastwold, in the mouth of a murder victim, and suggested someone did not like Scott Fitzgerald. (AUDIO: The Crooked Man)
