One book by Fitzgerald began, "In my younger and more vulnerable years my father gave me some advice that I've been turning over in my mind ever since." The Fourth Doctor once found a page ripped out of this book in a second-hand bookshop in Eastwold, in the mouth of a murder victim, and suggested someone did not like Scott Fitzgerald.
