The Thyme Lord was a Gallifreyan chef mentioned in a joke book in which the Thirteenth Doctor and Yasmin Khan once found themselves trapped.
Also according to the book, TARDIS's chameleon circuit gave it the appearance of a salt and pepper grinder. (PROSE: Knock, Knock, Who's There?)
