Charles Cromwell (1915-2006) was an operative with Torchwood 3 between 1945 and 1975, although he was still a respected team member when Ianto Jones worked at Torchwood 1. His main objective during his Torchwood career was the capture of Michael Bellini as he travelled through time but to no avail. He was partnered with Kenneth Valentine, whom by 1967 had defected to the Soviet Union. (TWN: Trace Memory)
