Mortimer Davey was an explorer and a cricketer who played a match against the Fifth Doctor and Alexander Bruce in Tibet in 1917. He was related to George Cranleigh by marriage.

He was possessed by a Great Old One. He took Erimem into a different plane of existence and showed her visions. (AUDIO: The Roof of the World)
