The Ryukyu Isles Mystery was the twenty-sixth short story of the Dalek Wars series, printed in issue 51 of Doctor Who: Battles in Time magazine. Like all installments of the Dalek Wars series, it is not considered a valid source by this Wiki due to being commercial in nature.

Plot
Professor J. T. P. Kaslinsky writes in his diary about his dig on Okinawa Island, where he uncovered signs of a prehistoric battle 70 million years ago. UNIT takes over the dig and reveals the ripped-apart metal casings belonged to Daleks who had accidentally fallen through time and weakened their defensive abilities.
