Ahmed was a servant of Professor Marcus Scarman during his expedition to Egypt in 1911. He warned Scarman not to open Sutekh's tomb, but his warning went unheeded. (TV: Pyramids of Mars) After Ahmed saw the Eye of Horus, he and the Egyptian labourers fled the tomb.
Afterwards, Ahmed and the labourers were captured by Ibrahim Namin's priests of the Cult of the Black Pyramid, who killed them and buried their bodies in the desert. (PROSE: Doctor Who and the Pyramids of Mars)
Behind the scenes
- Ahmed is one of two named characters in Pyramids of Mars who is not given a full name in either the televised version or the novelisation. The other is Doctor Warlock.
