The United Kingdom was the battle flagship of the solar system's Tenth Space Fleet.
History
On Wednesday, May 1, 2065, (PROSE: Battle in Space) the Tenth Space Fleet was patrolling near the border between the solar system's dominion and the Astran Empire when human pilots panicked about a warning shot sent by the Astrans. The ensuing exchange of fire devolved into a full-scale battle, the beginning of the Space War. Soon after, Astro-Controller Clarke, the commanding officer of the United Kingdom, reported that he had suffered heavy damage to Space City back on Earth, although so had the enemy.
