In 2007, a lad and his friend lost control of their Alsatian, who ran down Berkley Avenue and attacked Smokey. The lad then ran down to Smokey's home after he and his friend had regained control of the Alsatian, in distress and in tears over Smokey and his dog. (PROSE: The Story of Fester Cat)
