Frank Ross

Frank Ross was an astronomer assigned to the observatory outpost on GK5 with Ken Mead. In 2066, he checked the readings of the radio telescope and found it to show some kind of meteorite constructed of matter unknown to humans. Using the telescope to learn the location of its landing site, Frank and Ken boarded their vehicle to go and investigate. Upon reaching the site, they found a "mysterious membrane" roughly spheroid in shape. Giving it a closer inspection, the tentacles of a creature burst out and grabbed hold of both Frank and Ken, killing them both. Tracking stations reported that contact had been lost with GK5 with Commander Zero summoning Steve Zodiac and Fireball XL5 back to Space City to deal with the mounting crisis.
