Joseph Long played Rocco Colasanto in the Doctor Who story Turn Left and the Pope in Extremis.
In both cases he played characters in an alternative world but neither were seen by the Doctor as Rocco was in Donna's World where the Doctor was dead and the Pope met the Doctor when the latter was blind.
