The 2020 Copper-Colored Cupids Calendar was a festive feature of The Crew of the Copper-Colored Cupids series in 2020. Taking the form of an advent calendar and much like the Doctor Who Adventure Calendar, "new holiday content" featuring the Crew of the Copper-Colored Cupids was released each day until Christmas. Specials were also published for Boxing Day on 26 December and New Year's Day on 1 January 2021.

Connections to the DWU

After the Retconning Crocodiles were mentioned in A Worthy Successor earlier in the year, the Calendar contained the first fully-fledged crossovers with the Doctor Who universe with two stories featuring the character of Auteur licensed from Jacob Black.

The first, Auteur's Abecedarium, was written and illustrated by Black and described as an "exclusive crossover interlude" to the then-ongoing multi-instalment prose story The Time of the Toymaker. The absences of Juliet-178 and Pythagoras-858 from the Cupid Homeworld "on official business" confirmed that Auteur's Abecedarium was set concurrently with that story. The second, Resurrection of the Author, was penned and illustrated by Cupids co-creator Aristide Twain. From Auteur's perspective it was set between Twain's first story for the Doctor Who: Lockdown! event, A Better World, and Abecedarium.

Additionally, The Time of the Toymaker: Chapter One contained an allusion to the Celestial Toymaker by noting that their were other claimants throughout the omniverse to Madame Tarsa's title of the Toymaker. Cupid Fact File #2457: The Quantek also tied-in to the DWU by depicting the circumstances behind the creation of the "rather underwhelming report to the Department of Documentation" which Celebration-556 was responsible for, as mentioned in Auteur's Abecedarium. This poor report is given as one of the reasons for his eagerness to regard Auteur's Abecedarium as a Christmas miracle thus commencing the main narrative.
