Apollo 13[[edit source]]

In DWM 417, the book's title was confirmed as Apollo 13, not 23. Could someone change the page name? Jim393 18:23, January 9, 2010 (UTC)

Never mind, I've moved all the page information to Apollo 13. Jim393 11:43, January 10, 2010 (UTC)

  • And I've moved it to Apollo 13 (novel) as it's pretty obvious that the spacecraft of this name will be referenced, and as such an article on the craft will be needed. 23skidoo 22:29, January 18, 2010 (UTC)

According to these sites here [1] and here [2] iot is called Apollo 23. And 23skidoo not many people edit the info about novels so there may or may not be. It is only me ho really does it. --Catkind121 19:59, February 17, 2010 (UTC)

  • Just as a followup, although the Apollo 13 title is now confirmed as incorrect, it should be noted for the record that I moved the article based upon the fact a trusted source, DWM, had used the other title. Amazon has gotten things wrong before, as anyone who has tried to order non-existent product listed by them has discovered. On this occasion DWM was wrong. So though I was aware of other sources saying Apollo 23 the fact DWM said otherwise (plus, let's be honest, it's not an unreasonable connection to make given what happened to Apollo 13 in real life - there is potential for an historical Doctor Who story there), and the lack of any cover art or other publicity, led to my good faith decision to move the article. 23skidoo 04:04, March 8, 2010 (UTC)

Apollo 23[[edit source]]

We now know that "Apollo 13" was a mistake. However, the fact that Apollo 23 is currently a redirect is preventing the page from being Moved back to that name. Should I cut and paste the text or is there a smoother way to do these things? -- Noneofyourbusiness 03:07, February 22, 2010 (UTC)

Yes there is a smoother way of doing things, also you should never cut and paste info to move pages on a wiki as this means all the page's history is lost. To move content use the 'move function' (if there is a page in the way of a move an admin must do the move as this involves deleting the destination article to make way for the move).
However, I'm not sure if we should move the page to 'Apollo 23' as the publisher's summary suggests that Apollo 23 is a 'something' (spaceship, base or something else). As with most things on this wiki the in-universe thing takes precedence and the out-of-universe element gets brackets to distinguish it. --Tangerineduel 13:31, March 8, 2010 (UTC)
