Len Walter was the supervising editor for the entirety of the supermarionation television series Thunderbirds, excluding the first episode Trapped in the Sky, on which he was the editor. This included the episode The Man from MI.5, which crossed over into the Doctor Who universe by featuring an appearance by the Daleks. He was also the editor on the two films Thunderbirds Are Go and Thunderbird 6.

Walter was involved in several other creations of Gerry Anderson which shared crossovers with the DWU. He was the editor for The Mysterons, the first episode of Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons, and the supervising editor for the remaining thirty-one episodes, as well as being the supervising film editor for some of Joe 90. On other Anderson productions, Walter was the editor for both the live-action film Doppelgänger and seven episodes of the live-action series UFO.

Walter's first credits as an editor were for several 1961 episodes of Ghost Squad and the first episode of the Roberta Leigh series Space Patrol. His only other (and final) credit was on the 1982 documentary series Today's History.
