Kemel Rudkin was a technician aboard the Wheel.

Biography[[edit] | [edit source]]

By 2000, (TV: The Mind Robber; AUDIO: Prison in Space) 2079 (AUDIO: The Dying Light) or later, (PROSE: The Indestructible Man) Kemel Rudkin was working on the Wheel as a technician. (PROSE: The Wheel in Space)

Rudkin quickly took off his headphones when Jamie McCrimmon used the Time Vector Generator from Silver Carrier and told Leo Ryan of the noise which Tanya Lernov told Jarvis Bennett had hurt him. As a result, he was carried away to the medical bay to see what Dr Gemma Corwyn could do for him. Dr Corwyn took him off of communications but allowed him to continue work, Jarvis later sending him to the power room to assist Bill Duggan. To that end, he went to fetch Bernalium rods and was killed by Cybermats. (TV: The Wheel in Space)

Legacy[[edit] | [edit source]]

Rudkin's corpse was found shortly after by Dr Corwyn and Bill. His death greatly upset Bill, who said that he would do anything to bring him back. (TV: The Wheel in Space)

Behind the scenes[[edit] | [edit source]]

Rudkin's first name was not used in the TV story nor the novelisation and appears only in the credits.
