Jim Garrett was a doctor and colleague of Owen Harper. He examined Owens fiancée Katie Russells head and belived she suffered from Alzheimer's disease. He was killed by the alien living inside Katie's brain. Torchwood covered up his death, and it was said that he had been killled in a car crash. (TW: Fragments)
